Frequently Asked Questions

Is the ski pass included in the price?
The ski pass is not included in the price of the lessons, and must be purchased at the lift ticket office for all lesson levels except beginners (to be arranged with the instructors at the end of the first lesson). You can check out our different ski passes in the "How to choose a ski pass" section.
Is ski equipment included in the lesson price?
The price of the lessons does not include the loan of equipment, which must be arranged before your first lesson.
Do I need to take out insurance?
We strongly advise you to take out insurance during your stay in the mountain. You'll need an insurance specialising in winter sports and providing the necessary cover in the event of an accident both during and outside your esf lessons.
See our advice on how to take out insurance in the "Insurance" section.
How are group lessons organised?
Group lessons are held from Sunday to Friday, and the meeting place is the Snowy Kindergarten, next to the Place de la Grenouillère. A second Snowy Kindergarten is located at the Mongie-Tourmalet residence.
How are the étoiles tests organised?
The Étoile Test takes place on the last day for holders of a 6 to 12 group lesson card. For children under 13, the medal is included in the price and will be handed over by the instructor directly on the slopes.
Do I need to book lessons in advance?
We advise you to book at least two weeks before your departure, whatever the period (even outside school holidays).
